COALITION: ABAYOMI MIGHTY SAYS HE IS ALREADY IN COALITION WITH NIGERIANS, BERATES PETER OBI ON INSENSITIVE REMARKS; DEMANDS IMMEDIATE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF OMOYELE SOWORE

by Ikechukwu John Uformadu

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Abayomi Mighty has said that he is only interested in coalitions with Nigerians to pull the country out of doldrums, while also criticizing Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate for his recent remarks on political alliances.

Peter Obi in his statement stated:

“I’m not interested in any coalition that is for the purpose of taking power,” emphasizing his disinterest in alliances solely aimed at seizing political control”

Abayomi Mighty considered Obi’s stance as shortsighted, suggesting that Obi’s reluctance to engage in coalitions undermines collective efforts to effect meaningful change in Nigeria. He (Abayomi Mighty) politely nudges that he invested over one billion naira in empowering Nigerians in 2024 and has continued to impact numerous lives up until this minute, which underscores his dedication to improving the socio-economic conditions of citizens and that not only Obi has the interest of Nigeria(ns) at heart.

In the same vein, Abayomi Mighty advertently called for the immediate and unconditional release of Omoyele Sowore, who was recently detained after rejecting stringent bail conditions imposed by the Nigerian police. Abayomi Mighty describes the bail conditions set for Sowore as excessively harsh.

Reiterating his commitment for a better Nigeria, Abayomi Mighty reiterated that citizens deserve leadership that prioritizes their welfare and upholds justice. He called on fellow Nigerians to unite in demanding accountability and transparency from their leaders.
