Abayomi Mighty Mourns the Passing of Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Awujale of Ijebuland

Abayomi Mighty, a leading Presidential Aspirant for 2027 and prominent voice for the youth and women, has extended his heartfelt condolences to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the revered Awujale of Ijebuland, on his transition to join his ancestors.

Oba Adetona, a distinguished first-class monarch, ascended the throne in 1960 and faithfully ruled the people of Ijebu for decades until his passing, earning a legacy of dignity, wisdom, and cultural guardianship.

Abayomi Mighty described the news of Oba Adetona’s passing as a blow too many, he lamented the immense loss not only to the sons and daughters of Ijebuland, of which he counts himself as one, but also to Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
