Reports indicate that during attempts to assume control of council secretariats in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area, and Ikoyi, headquarters of Isokan Local Government Area, violent clashes erupted, leading to at least one death and multiple injuries.
Abayomi Mighty emphasized that such acts of violence undermine the democratic process and disenfranchise the electorate. He urged law enforcement agencies to conduct thorough investigations into these incidents and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
